L’Arte del Vangelo di questa settimana racconta la saldatura che Gesù compie tra l’amore di Dio e l’amore del prossimo. E lo fa con le opere di Olivuccio, pittore poco noto ma di grande impatto visivo, e le fotografie di Dorothea Lange.

Splendid illuminated manuscripts and fragile bodies tested by need, by illness, by our many frailties. What do they have in common? Jesus tells us that God manifests himself in both. This week’s Gospel Art tells of the connection that Jesus makes between the love of God and the love of neighbor. And it does so with the works of Olivuccio, a little-known painter with great visual impact, and the photographs of Dorothea Lange.
